It’s difficult to predict how much support and maintenance you’re going to need. One way to budget for IT maintenance and support, however, is to look at subscription services that allow you to access corporate-grade support when you need it, for a monthly subscription.

There are a range of services available and we offer customers a number of options including IT Support Manager. This gives customers access to specially trained business support agents who can give technical advices about problems, help to plan for your future IT needs and also remotely take control of a computer (whether PC or Mac) in order to remedy any problems – all for a low monthly fee.

I have decided to outsorce what I can to avoid in-house costs and worry. Seems to be good - just outsourced all the antivirus stuff to www.trvprotect.com - they have a cool outsourced Trend Micro system

When seeking IT support it is important to gain services from a pro-active company that will monitor your systems and not just wait for you to call. You want to avoid downtime and the good support companys work like your watch dog to ensure your systems operate with as little downtime as possible. Good uptime and healthy systems is money well spent. Andrew Marr, IT Consultant, www.andrewmarr.co.uk
