Technology experts keep telling us we live in a Web 2.0 world. But what does this mean? This video discussion from SmallBusiness.co.uk and BT should help to explain what Web 2.0 means.

The phrase was coined in 2003 to describe the sharing of software and applications on the web, rather than them sitting on the PC. Today things have evolved, and we use the term as an explanation for the sharing of information between groups of people.

The discussion examines at how Web 2.0 is shaping the internet and has enabled the creation of online communities. It asks how this can work in the mainstream business environment, whilst looking at how small businesses can use Web 2.0 to really engage with their customers and the market.
