i need more information about start business in portable appliance testing

I have just "clicked here" to get your PDF of "Starting your Business" only to be informed that I have to pay for it. I do not have an issue with this, as I have now paid for it. I'm looking into starting a small business selling organic bakery products and fairtrade drinks. I need to know what I have to do in order to legally sell my products! I have already been asked to provide my services at trade fairs and outdoor events but am afraid to accept the pitches in case I am breaking a law.
