Next week sees the launch of the British Franchisors’ Association’s prestigious Franchisor of the Year Awards to find the UK’s top performing franchise operator.
The theme this year is planning for success and entrants must demonstrate how they are advising, developing and monitoring the role of business planning within their network.
Last year, the joint winners were Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Clubs and Kall Kwik, while Monkey Music walked away with the Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year Award and printing.com winning the HSBC Award For Enterprise.
’The Franchisor of the Year Award recognises and promotes outstanding professionalism within this increasingly important market sector,’ says Director General of the bfa, Brian Smart, ‘and seeks to reward those who are consistently striving for excellence, both for themselves and for the success of their networks.’
Franchisors can also compete to be the Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year and to win the HSBC Award for Enterprise.
The winners of the BFA Franchisor of the Year Awards will be announced at a ‘glittering gala luncheon’ at London’s Savoy Hotel on Thursday 18 May 2006.
Entry forms are available from the bfa offices, Thames View, Newtown Road, Henley on Thames, Oxon RG9 1HG or can be downloaded from the bfa website; www.thebfa.org. Closing date for all entries is Friday 17th February 2006.
