London's small businesses can get their hands on up to £1,000 to help train employees and managers thanks to AddMore, a newly launched programme.
Funded by the London Learning and Skills Councils and provided by Business Link for London and Reed in Partnership, AddMore promises small and medium-sized firms up to £1,000 funding in two key areas:
AddMore claims to provide practical skills-based development starting with an initial assessment of a company's needs, a training and development plan and free advice on the most relevant training resources and subsidies available to businesses. In addition, AddMore provides access to a free workshop and online assistance on the Investors in People standard.
'AddMore is a truly co-ordinated approach to training and development providing a clear offer to London's important SME businesses,' says Tony Nelson, Director of Skills and Workforce at the Learning and Skills Council, London Central.
'The AddMore scheme will tackle head-on the skills needs of both managers and employees, adds Judith Rutherford, chief executive of Business Link for London. 'It will ensure that support is readily available to help businesses achieve their full potential by improving skills across the workplace.'
For more information, go to the AddMore website www.addmore.biz or call the hotline number on 0845-6000 787.
