The British Franchise Association (BFA) is looking for franchisees with exceptional customer care records to enter its 2007 Franchise of the Year Awards. This year's theme is customer service and, in order to enter, franchisees need to describe in 1,000 words or less how they have managed to achieve business success by way of treating customers well. Entries close on Friday, June 29th.
The awards are organised by the BFA together with Express Newspapers and HSBC, which will be supplying the prize money of £10,000.
A top prize of £5,000 will be awarded to the overall winner, with two other successful entries receiving £3,000 and £2,000.
The award event will take place at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham as part of National Franchise Week.
Established in 1977, the BFA helps potential franchisees to recognise good franchise opportunities. It notes that from its beginnings in fast food and motor distribution, franchising has expanded into at least 20 different business sectors.
