Q: I use both Mac’s and PC’s, but some of the functions on my Content Management System don’t work properly across both web browsers (Safari and Internet explorer). Are there any other browsers out there that I can buy cheaply?

There are a number of web browsers available to use, but the best one for working across Macs and PCs is Mozilla Firefox.

Mozilla Firefox is a cross-platform browser, providing support for various versions of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, which means you can work across Mac and PC.

Firefox is free to use and can be downloaded from www.firefox.uk.com.

I agree with the recommendation of Firefox. We went for Firefox as a company policy a while ago, mainly to protect against the security flaws in Internet Explorer. However we have found it far better and it works well on Mac and PC. There's just a small handful of 'clever' web sites that require IE - for everything else Firefox is great.
