BBC boost for budding restaurateurs

Jan 29 2007

Go into business with Raymond Blanc
Over 1,000 new restaurants open every year in Britain, more than any other kind of business, but unfortunately 900 of them close. However, help is at hand.

The BBC has announced that it is offering the opportunity for nine couples to go into business with top restaurateur Raymond Blanc, giving them a chance to make their dream come true.

Nine couples who dream of running their own restaurant will each be given a business in a different location. They have to create their perfect restaurant over seven weeks and then open the doors to the paying public. Every decision, every mistake they make, every argument they have will be caught on camera as they work and live together 24 hours a day.

If you have a partner, either in a relationship, a friend or a family member, and want to change your life forever then apply now at bbc.co.uk/restaurant
