If you’ve got what it takes to do battle with the likes of Peter Jones, Duncan Bannatyne, Theo Papthitis, James Caan and Deborah Meaden, then you’ll be pleased to hear that Dragons’ Den is looking for some fresh blood for its eighth season.

The production team wants to find 'business ideas, inventions or products with serious business potential that are investment-ready and looking for funding’.

In the most recent series of the programme, in which entrepreneurs pitch their  businesses to five investors, 15 business owners received offers of investment, while others have succeeded in bringing their products to market without the backing of the ‘dragons’.

So if you have the inspiration and bravery to take a grilling from the fire-breathing multi-millionaires, the BBC would like to hear from you via the Dragons’ Den website.
