Q: I have run a small business for nine years and it has given us a moderate lifestyle. Due to disastrous Christmas trading I find myself and staff on the verge of closure. Are there any grants available to help an ailing business?

This is extremely unlikely, but circumstances do change depending on the business and where you are.  There is a database carrying details of grants, loans etc called Grantfinder. Go to www.grantfinder.co.uk.

Alternatively, look at the Grants and Support Directory on the Business Link London website by clicking here or go to the j4bgrants website, which gives grant information for the UK and Ireland, by clicking here.
