Q: How can I get a logo designed?

It depends on your business but if you are selling to consumers, using a logo to build an identity for your business can be a successful tool. Check in your local newspaper for anyone advertising as a graphic designer - it’s a real cottage industry – and many of them work from home. Try two or three, asking for suggestions which should be free; you shouldn’t have to pay until you have selected a rough sketch and asked the designer to produce the finished product.
