Q: What use is email?

Aug 18 2005

Answered by: Chris Lindsay     Ask a question

E-mail is just another way of communicating, like post, fax, telephone. It’s cheap, quick and very convenient. It’s particularly useful if you need to communicate abroad on a very frequent basis. To use e-mail, you need to be connected to the internet and for that you need a computer and what’s known as a modem. Once connected, you should check your e-mail box at least twice a day, in the same way as you expect the postman to deliver your business mail twice a day.
