Five ways to boost your online Christmas Sales
The decorations are up, festive songs are playing and shoppers are looking increasingly harassed. Yuletide is here. Read our guide on how to maximise your online sales for the Christmas countdown
1) Make sure you put a brochure in with every order. If people like your product they may want to try other items in your range.
2) Christmas is a time to make the most of your best sellers; focus your promotional activities on these items as a way to get last-minute sales.
3) Put presents and links to gift packs on your home page, and stock Christmas-themed items. Offering gift wrapping is also a good way to increase margins.
4) Many gifts don’t stand alone, they need other items to go with them, such as batteries. Offer related items with your products wherever possible, and promote other gifts with offers like ‘buy two and get one free’.
5) Ensure your website is user-friendly for last-minute shoppers. Make clear the last day customers can order for Christmas delivery by putting dates at the top and bottom of every web page.
