Q: Do you think IT training is still important or are most people computer literate enough to get by these days?

Technology plays an integral part in the operations and success of a small business and it is important that people have a base level of IT skills.

Whilst computer skills are taught at high-school and university not everyone will feel comfortable working with computers.

The British Computer Society offers a number of courses and can provide you with further information on the most suitable programme for your employees.

Recent BT Business research revealed that PC problems and technology failure waste around one working month per person per year, but many smaller businesses can’t afford dedicated IT support. There are a range of services available to help those with their technology, and we offer customers a number of options including IT Support Manager. This gives customers access to specially trained business support agents who can give technical advices about problems, help to plan for your future IT needs and also remotely take control of a computer (whether PC or Mac) in order to remedy any problems – all for a low monthly fee.

Hi Chris Is this a real forum ? All the questions and answers appear to be from you. Or is this just a set of posts to get the ball rolling? I am curious about how useful it is to advertise on this Site as a small training provider John Caulfield IT Trainer http://www.mousetraining.co.uk
